Welcome to Kingston College of Education

Kingston College of Education was established by the Kingston Educational Society in the year 2002-03 with the mission of providing quality education to trainee teachers through the B.Ed. courses. This College is permitted by the Govt. of A.P. vide G.O. Ms. No. 3278 / N / 2-2 / 2001 dated 28-12-2001 issued by the Commissioner Of School Education during the academic year 2002-03 with an intake capacity of 100 candidates for the B.Ed. Course. N.C.T.E. recognition No. A.P/ new/ B.Ed / 286 / SRO / Ncte / 2002-03 / 6670 dated 08-04-2003. Osmania University, Hyderabad has permitted this B.Ed. College to be run under its affiliation with an intake of 100 (2 Units) Cat A=(75%), Cat B=(25%). The college has maintained good infrastructure and lab facilities.

The B.Ed., D.Ed., course in the College is affiliated with Osmania University. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has accorded its recognition to it. With a view to improve the quality of education.

Along with sound theoretical knowledge, the students are given a wide exposure to practical work. The B.Ed. students are sent to various schools in the city for their teaching practice program for 120 days.
